Horrible customer service. Email them severally concerning my refunds, but to no avail. Will not buy from them again or order from them. Terrible people.

I buy my bags from river island and always have and I bought a duffle a few months ago however it has ran black from the leather all over my coat that was expensive not that it matters I just don't want that on any of my coats/clothes so I really am upset and hope no one else makes the same mistake I did never again will I buy from them

Great service in the Wandsworth southside store. Fitting room was sanitised by friendly staff before entering even though they were extremely busy.staff happily ordered out of stock item for me which arrived quickly. All items in sale area neatly presented, quick and easy to find my size and great prices.

Went to exchange my trousers and shoes as was wrong size and been told by arrogant manager I can’t because I wore them?!?...only tried them on at home due to being unable to in the shop and the shoes don’t fit?!?! Was told 28days return but now I have £60+ worth of ill fitting shoes and trousers! Disgusting service in the derby store, will never go back!!!!!!

I am very disappointed about the services. I have more than 10 orders that has been cancelled, they letting you order items which are not in stock, order gets cancelled and the next day the same out of stock item is showing again.All my items being cancelled again and again

Don't order online you won't get your goods when they say. I paid for next day delivery and waited in for the 2 hour time slot that Hermes gave. Didnt arrive tracking just says out for delivery. Wont touch them again. Untrustworthy company.

Even a whole star is too much for these rats. Remember how i ordered once a ?pair of boots, took a while, had to contact their support and ask where are my boots, got a very low answer: Please be advised the reason why your order was returned back to our warehouse, was because this parcel was damaged between leaving our warehouse and getting to the international courier.We do apologise for this, however this is out of our control. This is also in our Terms and Conditions.It's good that it turned that way because those low quality boots look like ?. ??

My online purchase at RI online store never arrived, was the subject of extra custom taxes and fees I was never told I would have to pay, and after exchanging emails throughout 2 weeks period, the seller asked for the package to be returned to them without informing me. Although I do have proof that the order has been returned, the seller still says it cannot proceed with a refund because of "legislation" issues, and can only start this after a period of 30 days. This was the worst costumer support I have ever encountered online. Misleading information on the website, contradictions between personnel dealing with the exact same issue. In summary, a nightmare and I feel I was scammed.

Always loved RI. As with anywhere there can be human errors and issues that crop up, and I feel like a lot of these poor reviews are OTT considering its prob lockdown related recently too! Good quality clothes, nice range for all ranges, I love that they do kids clothes ... always found delivery really quick, and tend to buy in bulk so get free delivery.

Love River Island clothes, I feel a bit too old for some of the newer online retailers but too young for some of the more traditional ones so RI fills the gap. Delivery arrived when stated. Have given 4 stars because depending on style I find sizing can vary. Back in the old days you’d be able to try on in a store. Ordered my usual size in a few things, most were spot on but one was tiny and the other huge so had to return. Having never returned via the post was a bit concerned but everything was fine, very fast. I think their minimum spend for free delivery is quite high compared to other similar retailers (when it’s £65) but right now it’s only £15 which is brilliant.

I’m going to keep writing reviews until I get my £40 refund back it has been 20 days since I’ve returned the parcel 21 days on Monday (less then 3 hours away) I purchased on the 23rd of December delivery on the 28th and returned on the 4th. They were quick to take the money but not to give it back there customer service is absolutely shocking. The whole company is a shamble honestly the 1 star is to much. The company is probably only staying afloat with all the money it’s not refunding to it’s customers
